Torqeedo Electric Outboards

The Leader In Electric Drive Boats

Derwent Water Marina are dealers of Torqeedo electric outboard motors.  We can advise on and source all of the Torqueedo engines ranging from their ultra light canoe/kayak motors up to high performance engines and everything in between.  The ease of use and environmentally friendly nature draws many into now using an electric outboard.

Torqeedo drives cause no water pollution with exhaust gases, oil or petrol. With regard to their carbon footprint, they are superior to combustion motors in a wheel-to-wheel comparison. This means that they pollute the atmosphere far less than combustion engines even when all the outboard’s production steps and power supply are taken into consideration. The reason for the better carbon footprint of Torqeedo’s electric drive systems is their low, resource-saving weight together with their dramatically lower power requirements in operation.

If you have any questions or queries about any Torqueedo product please phone 017687 72912 or email info@derwentwatermarina.co.uk.  Below are the details of some of our most popular engines.  For more options please visit https://www.torqeedo.com/en

Travel 1103 C –

With its integrated lithium battery and outstanding efficiency, the Travel 1103 C is a great alternative to any small petrol outboard. It can do everything a 3 HP outboard motor can, but is lighter, cleaner, quieter, and more convenient.  Moreover, it easily propels tenders, dinghies and day-sailors up to 1.5 tons and, when required, even over long distances.  Greater power and durability, yet quieter than ever. The Travel 1103 C runs at just 33 DB – as loud as a whisper – and is the quietest motor in its class.

Cruise Range 2.0 –

Torqeedo have upgraded their proven and reliable Cruise motors with even more powerful lithium batteries. The durable and extremely robust design is perfect for sailboats, motorboats and commercial applications up to 4 tons.  These long-distance outboards specialists continue to impress with unrivalled efficiency and outstanding range.  Available with remote throttle (R) or tiller (T) control, in 2.0 kW or 4.0 kW versions.

The new models of the Cruise 2.0 have been improved to meet the demanding challenges of every day commercial use; making them ready to take on the harshest environmental conditions, for example with dinghies and sailboats up to 3 tons.  This makes the Cruise even more rugged in the event that it runs aground and even better protected against corrosion when used extensively in salt water.  The Cruise 2.0 is comparable to a 5 HP petrol outboard and can be easily mounted on your boat with a couple of tools, regardless of whether the remote or tiller version.  A power supply from at least one lithium battery (Power 26-104) or with lead batteries (lead-gel or AGM) must be provided for operation.
