Berths afloat
Yachting & Motor Cruisers Afloat
Derwent Water Marina is situated in the peaceful and sheltered north west part of the lake with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The sheltered coves and islands, along with an abundance of wildlife, make this a fantastic place to keep your boat and explore the lakes islands and bays. Located in the village of Portinscale there are a number of cafes and pubs within walking distance from the Marina, and the busy tourist town of Keswick is just a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk and has a wide range of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.
Our seasonal boat moorings on our jetty offer you the convenience of stepping directly onto your boat without having to use a tender. We can accommodate Sailing boats up to 26’ long with a draft of up to 2’6”(keel raised).
As Berth Holders, on site parking is available whenever you are on your boat and you will have 24 hour access to the berth holders’ showers and washing facilities. There is also a well-stocked watersports shop and chandlery for all your boating needs with a 10% discount for our berth holders and a workshop for any work that may need doing on your boat or engine.
Prices include one launch and one recovery, with the boat owner present. There is an additional cost if you require trailer storage.
