On Board Club

What is Onboard Club?

Our Onboard Sailing Club is designed for young people aged 9-16 who are eager to sail regularly with the guidance of expert instructors. The club provides a fantastic opportunity for youth to enhance their sailing skills in a supportive and structured environment. In case the weather isn’t suitable for sailing, we also offer paddle sports to ensure that our members can continue to enjoy water activities.

Dates and Session Times

Meeting Schedule:

Every Tuesday from April through October

Session Times:

April, May, June, September, October: 16:45 to 19:00
July and August: 17:30 to 20:00

Age Group

The club is open to young people aged 9 to 16 years old.

Fees

Annual Membership: £60 (Membership must be paid in advance to secure a place in the club)
Onboard Sessions:
- £9 per session for members
- £18 per session for non-members

Membership Benefits

Members enjoy reduced rate sessions.
Members receive a 10% discount on all shop merchandise.
Non-members are also welcome to join the sessions at the standard rate.

Registration

To join the club, please contact us as soon as possible since there are a limited number of places available each season. Membership is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

What to Wear and Getting Changed

We aim to ensure that all participants are comfortable and safe while sailing. Here are some guidelines:

Clothing and Equipment:

We provide a range of wetsuits and buoyancy aids for members to use.
Please bring suitable footwear, such as wetsuit boots or old trainers, as our shorelines are stony.

Changing Facilities:

Changing rooms and toilet facilities are available on site.
To facilitate a quick change, we ask that members arrive with their swimming costume/trunks underneath their regular clothing.

Refreshments

We do not sell any refreshments on-site. We recommend that members bring along a snack and a drink to keep their energy levels up during the sessions.

Note

Spaces are limited each season, so early registration is advised, however new members are welcome all season!
Membership payments and session fees are required to confirm participation.
